Harvard's Program for the Evolution of Spirituality's 2025 Conference, Spirituality and the Arts, examines the dynamic relationship between alternative spirituality and artistic practice. By bringing together a diverse community of scholars, artists, and spiritual practitioners, we are collectively exploring the intersections of innovative edges of alternative spiritualities. 

How do emerging, alternative, and Indigenous spiritualities find expression through visual, musical, performing, and literary arts? How do spiritual and artistic practices intersect with broader social dynamics, such as power, coloniality, and ecological concerns? And finally, how does artistic work negotiate the boundaries of spiritual practices?
