2026 Conference: Belonging
Belonging: Practices of Inclusion in Spiritual Communities, the Academy, and Society
The 2026: Belonging Conference will take place in hybrid format on September 24-26, 2026, along with one or two days of virtual-only presentations on September 21-22, 2026.
We are seeking proposals for scholarly papers, experiential workshops, performances, and artistic talks related to practices of belonging in spiritual communities and in the academy. We also welcome proposals related to the limits, contradictions, and paradoxes of belonging. Scholars, spiritual practitioners, activists, artists, and performers as well as those who exist at the intersections of these identities, are all welcome to submit proposals.
