Beloved, queer
Publication information:
Abstract
This talk will detail a new project, Beloved, queer helmed by a Jewish lesbian and by a lesbian woman religious of the Episcopal tradition. The eventual anthology will be its own ritual object: the result of community conversations in Detroit alongside a more traditional call for literary submissions and creative expressions of a wide range, geographically restricted to Detroit and surrounding areas. The goal of this work to be embodied passions of queer lives—to hold these works up as a mirror to readers and viewers as good and right design.
