The Body Knows First: Belonging as a Somatic Experience
Publication information:
Abstract
A longing to belong.
This offering begins in the body.
Participants are invited to slow down and notice what is happening inside their bodies—nothing to change, nothing to explain.
They are invited to stay with what they sense, in a simple relationship of curiosity, without judgment.
In this way, participants come into contact with themselves. From there, a sense of connection with others may emerge.
This offering provides a direct, experiential way of sensing belonging.
