To Decode AI Is to Decode Yourself: How AI Could Help Humanity Be Decoded Through Time

This talk explores how AI can help humanity revisit the past, understand the present, and reimagine the future of belonging through the work of CreativeLabTH Group, Thailand’s first cross-disciplinary venture builder for startups, in collaboration with global partners. It raises questions about memory, belief, storytelling, spirits, culture, the body, and politics, and examines how these dimensions can be reinterpreted through technologies such as AI, quantum science, biotechnology, robotics, and brain-computer interfaces. These ideas are expressed through innovations, hackathons, seminars, exhibitions, and online content. Examples include artworks in which chant, EEG, and AI become tools for belonging and self-inquiry. In From Brainwaves to Blessings, participants’ neural signals recorded during Thai devotional chants are transformed into 3D-printed bracelets and mandala wallpapers. Other works, such as The Emotion Behind each Trigger, Co-Dancing Proxenobots, and Entangle อารมณ์, frame HCI as ways of revealing cultural memory and ethical responsibility.
