Abstract
Performance: "This Earth is Made of Song" is a lyric, musical composition that weaves together reflections on art-making and encounters of the divine in nature. It is a meditation on the role of creativity and dreaming as we turn towards new ways of relating to the earth and each other. This piece is composed of prose and songs, some written from a more-than-human perspective.
Presenter Biography
Eve Woldemikael is an artist and MDiv candidate living in Somerville, MA. As an Eritrean-American, she proudly draws from her African roots and ancestors in her work. Eve believes in the power of creativity and the joy of art-making to transform the way we relate to our world and each other.
