Artist Talk: "Echoes of the Nile" is a 44-piece art collection reinterpreting the ancient Kemetic Laws of Ma'at—Truth, Balance, Harmony, and Justice—through contemporary art. This virtual exhibition blends African traditional symbolism with modern aesthetics, inviting viewers into a sacred journey of spiritual exploration and self-discovery. Grounded in decolonial thought, it reclaims African spiritual wisdom as a tool for personal and collective healing.

Presenter Biography

Data Oruwari is an artist, mystic, and African spiritual practitioner. She channels ancestral wisdom through her art, blending African traditional iconography and contemporary aesthetics to invite spiritual exploration, healing, and self-discovery. Her work focuses on decolonizing spiritual identities and promoting mental health for BIPOC communities through African indigenous knowledge systems.
