Abstract
Artist Talk: “Garden of Eden” explores spirituality in the natural world.
This exhibition imagines a verdant world, reminding us of our current plight amid the climate crisis, species extinctions, and vanishing habitat. We yearn for a time when the world was simpler, more predictable; a time of innocence and beauty, and for a spiritual paradise, where we may heal.
My work focuses on the idea of landscape and memory. This series combines ideas rooted in the historical garden but also connects to past and future terrains. The exhibit is a call to honor, respect, and protect our natural world.
