New Impulses for Steiner's Six Subsidiary Exercises

This workshop is based on the “six subsidiary exercises” that Rudolf Steiner outlines in How to Know Higher Worlds. The exercises were given to anthroposophists to train one’s consciousness to receive spiritual knowledge. After all, spiritual knowledge cannot be transmitted like information; it must be experienced for oneself through honest effort and striving.

Whereas Steiner’s descriptions of the exercises would have them mostly practiced in the confines of one’s mind, I have developed original and creative ways that they can be practiced and witnessed in a community setting, bringing new life to what has grown stale.
