Abstract
An innovative and radically ecumenical spiritual protocol has been developed by fusing an occasional Quaker practice with the treatment of conspiracy theories as works of creative expression—that is, conspiracy theories as an art form. The arc of the project over the past 10 years, and the larger historical context of widespread conspiracy mania, will be addressed by its primary developer and lead technician Erling Hope. An hour long demonstration of the protocol would also be possible
Presenter Biography
Former Quaker clerk and fifth-generation artisan Erling Hope is a multi-media maker of things and experience-technician. For over thirty five years, he has been exploring the influence of objects, images, and the built environment on belief systems and the human capacity for reflection and enchantment.
