Abstract

Artist Talk: In "Terroir of Text and Graphs", I revisit my visuospatial representations of the relationship between ecological place and the artifacts we make for knowledge production. This installation is a work of design foresight towards anti-oppressive climate resilience information technology and affirms the incalculable value of Indigenous and anthropo-symbiotic ways of knowing. In this installation, I revisit the spiritually-informed art and design which informed my theoretical and methodological proposals in my master’s thesis, “What may be known: methods for activating large texts and graphs in the climate crisis” (2025).
