Abstract

Bridging the art of music with the science of sound and the spiritual self of the clinical musician and her music’s recipients during each therapeutic harp session constitutes a great example of ‘the spirituality & the arts’ perpetual wedding, gracefully and empathetically benefiting people in need and their environments, as well as transformatively contributing to contemporary societies’ urgent need to really see life’s spirit, to understand, embrace, experience and act through a more holistic &, consequently, spiritual perspective. The spiritual attributes which come forth, before, during and after each harp session, for the harpist and the recipient(s), and how the art form of music effortlessly meets the Spirit are going to be discussed, illustrated by everyday examples from the practice.
