Abstract

Abstract: The century old practices of people in mid hill region of other parts of Nepal on the areas of natural resource management is either guided by animistic approach or some sort of religious philosophy. Both animism or religious belief on natural resource management has several aspect of similarities and harmony. The entire practices of natural resource management is guided by a spiritual belief system which states each living beings possess soul and interlinkage to the family deity and ritual. This encourage the people of different group to consider protecting these all for the people and planet.

Presenter bio: Organic Agriculture promoter and keen interest on Cosmovision of people. Field level experience on agriculture, ecology and indigenous knowledge of people in different parts of developing countries in Asia, Oceania and Africa. Studied Biodynamic agriculture.
