Abstract

Abstract: Groundtruthing in the Garden: Learn how to unlayer the landscape! Our schools, homes and institutions are surrounded by essential kin. Come and learn how to see how the plants we surround ourselves with tell a story. The original local plants, and the introduced species create a floral narrative in the Harvard Divinity School Garden. Place based learning helps us orient ourselves in a changing world. We can cocreate a practical physical account to reconcile and decolonialize the landscapes that surround us. Join us outside for some fresh air and plant perspectives.
